T2:The Ironbridge Trial of Steam
Vehicle Rally
Start : Saturday 13th of May 2017
End : Saturday 13th of May 2017
The team who brought you The Wirksworth Assessment Trial in 2014 (some use anacronim for this...) are proud to announce a steam traction engine road run through the stunning birth place of the Industrial Revolution.

This event is not to be missed by either spectators, photographers or engine crews as it has a unique location, a great host and will show the world that the road steam world is not just simmering water in a line up of highly polished antiques but that they are still the solid workhorses which built and supplied the Empire.

The trial route will pass through the Ironbridge World Heritage site, visiting historic museum sites and climbing the challenging sides of the river Severn gorge. The run will be an incredible opportunity for photographers to get pictures of steam engines working as the makers intended in a truly authentic setting.

The cavalcade will depart from Blists Hill Victorian Town on Saturday 13th of May and descend into the Gorge and an area steeped in proud industrial history.

Due to high demand and limited places please apply early to avoid disappointment.
