Does anybody want to bring their engine/s to this years Torbay steam fair on 5th, 6th & 7th August 2005 at Churston, nr Brixham, South Devon.
Maybe you fancy a change of scene or if you're heading down to West of England for their 50th anniversary at St Agnes & are looking for somewhere to go en route (Ruth Atkinson is hopefully bringing her Fowler RL from Essex!) Now in its 18th year, it's a well organised, fun rally run FOR the engine owners & enthusiasts. Live entertainment in the beer tent on the Friday & Saturday night. Engine owners that have been in the past really enjoyed themselves, infact one year Alan Eaton brought his Allchin & Fowler RL down from Northampton & enjoyed themselves so much they handed their appearance money back!! Torbay is also one of very few that will pay towards diesel costs for old commercial vehicles attending.
