Hi All,
new to the site and to steam engineering so be patient to what may seem stupid questions. i have been offered a set of plans and 60 castings for the above build. i am unsure of how many drawings should be in the set to complete the build. are they available if required as i dont want to get started only to grind to a halt due to lack of info. any help appreciated. PhilS

Hi, also new to steam engines. I recently obtained 1.5" scale plans, 5 sheets and have to decide on the right scale for me -
a 1" model seems to be 21" long and weight 13Kg a 2" model seems to be 35" long and weght 85 Kg Some where inbetween seems to be right for my liking - so 1.5", but what length and weight is a 1.5" Burrell-7nhp

Hi i am doing a Burrell Bassett lowke I have five A5 sheets which leave a lot to be worked out but I am getting through them, If I can be of any help to you just email me Or if you can help me I am stuck on the cylinder the plans do not give much info so if anybody can help with more detaile of the cylimder I would be very gratful, ATB Alan

Depends on what scale and which particular design of engine. several different people do Burrells.
